Job summary

Arvida in Queenstown seeks an experienced painter to maintain the buildings and equipment in our thriving retirement communities. You will handle planned and unplanned maintenance, ensuring high safety standards for residents and staff.

The role requires a valid NZ driver’s license, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with subcontractors. A supportive culture and opportunities exist.

Qualifications

• Full NZ Driver’s license.
• Experience in general paint maintenance of buildings and equipment.
• Experience managing subcontractors and maintaining good working relationships.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Organisational, time management and problem-solving ability, able to work unsupervised.
• Empathy towards older New Zealanders, good interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Competent in using Microsoft Office applications.
