Job summary

Gallagher Summer Internship Programme in Hamilton offers a paid, 10-week onsite experience from November 2026 to February 2027. You will work alongside engineers, developers, cybersecurity specialists and product teams on meaningful projects that serve customers in New Zealand and globally.

You’ll receive mentoring, hands-on exposure to leading technology, and a pathway into Gallagher’s two-year Graduate Programme, with real opportunities to grow and network.

Qualifications

• Be currently studying at a New Zealand tertiary institution.
• Be completing or have completed an NZQA Level 6 qualification or higher in science, technology, engineering, or a related field.
• Be legally entitled to work in New Zealand during the internship period.
• Not have completed more than two previous Gallagher internships or held long-term or full-time employment with Gallagher outside of an internship.

Responsibilities

• Work onsite on real projects under mentoring from experienced technical staff.
• Contribute to projects across security and agritech with potential global impact.
• Gain exposure to industry-leading technology and product development.

Education

NZQA Level 6 qualification or higher in science, technology, engineering, or related field
