Job summary

Health New Zealand – Te Whatu Ora Te Tai Tokerau is seeking a Paediatric Speech Language Therapist to join the Child Development Service at Whangārei Hospital. You will provide evidence-based therapy to tamariki and work within a multidisciplinary team.

You will conduct assessments, plan treatment per National Standards, and ensure culturally responsive care for tamariki and whānau. NZSTA registration required; prior paediatric experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree in Speech Language Therapy or equivalent.
• Current Registration with NZSTA (or eligibility for this).
• Experience in paediatric Speech Language Therapy.

Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based speech language therapy services appropriate to your level of skill/experience.
• Implement assessment and treatment aligned with NZ Speech Language Therapists National Standards of Practice.
• Ensure all clients and whānau are treated in a culturally appropriate manner.
