Qualifikationen

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy.
• Registration with the Occupational Therapy Board of New Zealand (OTBNZ) with annual practising certificate.
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team and build relationships with staff and clients.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience in paediatrics or neurological rehabilitation is desirable.
• Competency with te ao Māori, tikanga, and te reo Māori or willingness to learn.

Provide an effective and efficient Paediatric Occupational Therapy service to children throughout Northland. This will include children with disabilities and developmental problems within Occupational Therapy service criteria.Based at the Whangarei Hospital Campus, and part of the Child Development Service our team provide Occupational Therapy Services as part of a multi-disciplinary team to support children and whānau to achieve their life goals and aspirations. This includes providing therapy, equipment and housing solutions. You will work with the whānau in the community (home based visits), and onsite clinics throughout Northland.
