New Zealand Government seeks a motivated Speech Language Therapist to join the Starship Community service as a Core Speech Language Therapist. You will assess and intervene for children with communication and swallowing needs, working within a multidisciplinary Child Development Service to deliver equitable, whānau-centred care.

You will manage a clinical caseload, collaborate with whānau and professionals, contribute to professional development, and engage in continuous quality improvement

Qualifikationen

• Be a registered Speech Language Therapist in New Zealand with a current Annual Practising Certificate.
• Hold a full and clean NZ drivers license.
• Have relevant clinical experience in health and/or disability sectors.
• Have an understanding of the significance of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and apply its principles in your role.
• Have an overriding passion for improving outcomes for children.
• Ideally you will have paediatric experience, including dysphagia; applicants with the right qualifications and keen interest will be considered.
