New World Te Atatu in Auckland is seeking an experienced Overnight Store Manager to lead the night team from 9:00pm to 7:00am. You’ll take over from the afternoon Duty Manager and ensure safe, efficient operations and a high standard of presentation.
Supported by your 2IC, you will allocate work, oversee nightfill, bakery and deli prep, coord cleaners, and leave the store ready for the morning team and customers to trade.

Are you an experienced night shift leader who enjoys taking charge?
We’re looking for a reliable, experienced and hardworking Overnight Manager to lead our night team at New World Te Atatu.
This is a great opportunity for someone who has worked nights before, knows how to lead a team, and takes pride in leaving a store looking fantastic for the morning team and our customers.
Supported by your 2IC, you’ll be the senior person in the building overnight, responsible for making sure everything gets done safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
From 9:00pm, you'll take over from the afternoon Duty Manager and lead the overnight operation through until 7:00am.
Your team will cover:
You'll be responsible for allocating the work, keeping everyone moving and making sure the team finishes the night strongly.

We're looking for someone who leads from the front.
Someone who is calm under pressure, treats people well, sets clear expectations and isn't afraid to get stuck in when the team needs a hand.
If you're new to New Zealand but have strong supermarket, retail or hospitality leadership experience overseas, we'd love to hear from you.
