Job summary

Macpac in Christchurch is seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Store Manager to lead a busy retail floor with a positive, customer‑focused approach. You will support the Store Manager, coach a small team and help drive sales and service.

With 2+ years in leadership, you'll foster an inclusive culture, manage training, merchandising, stock control, safety and store security while enjoying great team discounts and Parental Leave from day one.

Qualifications

• 2+ years management or leadership experience.
• The ability to lead by example and deliver top-tier customer service.
• An ability to motivate and inspire your team.
• Skills in training, driving floor sales, and achieving results.
• Experience in visual merchandising, stock control, health & safety and store security.
• Having experience with outdoor clothing and equipment is not essential... a passion for the outdoors or travel is preferable.
