Job summary

Orchard Cover Limited in the Bay of Plenty is seeking an organised Project Administrator to coordinate and support our orchard infrastructure projects. This permanent, full-time role offers a 35-40 hour week and pay of $32 per hour.

You will manage schedules, site visits, deliveries and installation activities, maintain project files and records, liaise with owners, management, subcontractors and suppliers, and help prepare progress updates and handovers.

Qualifications

• Diploma-level or higher qualification in management, business, horticulture, or 2-3 years in orchard/project admin.
• Familiarity with horticulture/orchards is desirable.
• Experience in orchard environments is an advantage.
• Weekend availability may be required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate project schedules, site visits, material deliveries and installation activities.
• Maintain project files, work orders, site records, variation records and completion documents.
• Liaise with orchard owners, management, site teams, suppliers and subcontractors regarding project requirements and progress.
• Coordinate the availability of workers, contractors, equipment and approved project materials.
• Monitor project progress, identify delays or shortages and report issues to management.
• Record changes to project scope, timing, quantities or site requirements and maintain appropriate variation records.
• Prepare project progress updates and maintain accurate records of milestones and outstanding work.
• Coordinate project handover, follow-up work and maintenance requirements.
• Attend orchard sites when required for project coordination, information gathering and progress verification.
• Other relevant duties including scheduling, documentation, stakeholder coordination, resource coordination, progress reporting and variations.
