Job summary

Deloitte New Zealand is seeking an experienced Oracle Cloud Functional Solution Architect to join our Auckland or Wellington team. As a senior leader, you will shape innovative Oracle Cloud solutions and lead client engagements across industries.

You will drive architecture design, guide project delivery, and mentor a high-performing Oracle team while collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver outcomes that matter for clients.

Qualifications

• This role requires 5+ years of Oracle Cloud implementations and solution architecture leadership.
• Experience leading design phases across the full software development lifecycle at enterprise scale.
• Strong client service, relationship building, and communication skills are essential.
• Ability to drive high performance while fostering collaboration and delivering impact.

Responsibilities

Qualifications

Enough about us, let's talk about you. You are someone with:

• Oracle Cloud Specialist and/or Solution Architect with experience across functional domains
• Strong knowledge of Oracle ERP modules; expertise with Oracle SCM, HCM & EPM will be a plus.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle Cloud configurations, integrations, and security frameworks.
• Proven 5+ years of experience in Oracle Cloud implementations, upgrades, and solution architecture.
• Responsible for leading design phases with experience across the full software development life cycle at an enterprise scale
• Exceptional client service and client management skills; able to build and maintain effective client relationships
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Able to drive high performance from people while fostering collaboration: set the strategic direction and expectations for the team, align their strengths to tasks, and challenge them to raise the bar while providing support.
• Committed to maintaining and developing own skills and certifications; willing to learn, embrace challenges and be hands on.
• Consulting experience with a large Tier 1 professional services organisation preferred but not essential.
