Job summary

Deloitte New Zealand is seeking an Oracle Cloud ERP Analyst/Consultant to help clients improve finance and procurement processes through Oracle Cloud ERP. You will work with experienced consultants on design, configuration, testing and training, building practical AI skills for client delivery.

The role spans finance and procure-to-pay, with travel across New Zealand and a path to grow a consulting career in a collaborative, award-winning team.

Qualifications

• Early Oracle ERP experience or exposure to finance systems or business change.
• Hands-on experience or training in system configuration, support, testing or documentation.
• Exposure to Oracle Cloud ERP or other Cloud SaaS platforms is helpful but not essential.
• Foundational understanding of finance concepts such as accounting or procure-to-pay.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Background in accounting, finance, IT or related discipline beneficial.

Job Description

In this role, you'll help clients improve the way they run finance and procurement processes through Oracle Cloud ERP. You'll work alongside experienced consultants to understand business needs, support solution design and configuration, assist with testing and training, and help clients adopt new ways of working. You'll also build practical AI skills and learn how to apply AI-assisted solutions in client delivery.

You’ll work primarily across finance and procure-to-pay workstreams, contributing to Oracle Cloud ERP implementations for clients across New Zealand. Flexibility and a willingness to travel will be important.

This role is ideal for someone with early Oracle ERP, finance systems or business systems experience who is keen to learn, enjoys solving problems, and wants to build a consulting career in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

We're looking for someone who is curious, collaborative and keen to grow their Oracle ERP consulting career. You may already have hands-on Oracle experience, or you may have worked with finance systems, ERP platforms, accounting processes or technology-enabled business change.

• 1-2 years' experience or relevant exposure to Oracle Financials, Oracle EBS, Oracle Cloud ERP or another ERP/business system.
• Some hands-on experience or training in system configuration, system support, testing, process design or documentation.
• Exposure to Oracle Cloud ERP or another Cloud SaaS platform such as NetSuite, SAP S/4HANA, Dynamics 365 or Workday would be helpful, but is not essential.
• Foundational understanding of finance concepts such as accounting, financial processes or procure-to-pay.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team and engage with stakeholders.
• A background or qualification in accounting, finance, IT or a related discipline would be beneficial.
