Job summary

Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora Dunedin Hospital is seeking an Ophthalmic Photographer on a permanent part-time basis. The role supports the Ophthalmology Outpatient Department with photographic and technical services and related administration.

The position adapts to 0.8–1.0 FTE (32–40 hours/week). Weekend work may be required, and Health NZ offers a collaborative, patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

  • Hold a Level 4 certificate in Digital Photography (or higher) or be working towards this.
  • Some experience within an ophthalmic field would be advantageous but is not essential.
  • Be flexible in your availability as some occasional weekend work may be required.

About the role

We are looking for an Ophthalmic Photographer to join the Ophthalmology Outpatient Department here at Dunedin Hospital on a permanent part-time basis.

The primary responsibility of the position is to provide photographic and technical support, as well as associated administrative services for the Ophthalmology Department.
