Job summary

Messenger Services Limited (MSL) is expanding its Kiwi Oversize team at our Syd Bradley Road distribution facility in Christchurch. We are seeking a tenacious freight handler/loader who can work on site, assist with sorting and moving freight, and contribute to a safe, efficient operation.

The role is permanent full-time, Monday to Friday, 42.5 hours per week, with some flexibility. You should be physically fit, reliable and a team player; forklift experience is a plus, and you must be eligible

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential.
• Forklift experience is an advantage.
• You must be eligible to work and live in New Zealand.
• Pre-employment screening and criminal history check are required.

Responsibilities

• Sort and load freight at the Syd Bradley Road distribution facility.
• Lift and move freight, sometimes heavy items during shifts.
• Work Monday to Friday, 42.5 hours per week, with some flexibility.

OurKiwi Oversizebusiness is expanding and growing quickly. To support our distribution team, we are looking for a tenacious, energetic and self-motivated individual to join our freight sorting team at ourSyd Bradley Roaddistribution facility.

As a freight handler/Loader you will not be afraid of hard work and be prepared to be on your feet lifting and moving freight, sometimes heavy items during your working shift.

It is important that our employees are punctual, friendly, reliable, has attention to detail and able to work easily with others in a team environment. You will need to have a sense of humour, be physically fit, reliable, and ideally have a good geographical knowledge of local, regional and NZ wide cities and towns.

This is a permanent full-time position,Monday to Friday 42.5 hours per week(some flexibility will be required at times).
