Job summary

TIMG Wanaka is seeking a reliable, motivated warehouse assistant to join our depot team. This role involves general warehousing, freight sorting, loading and unloading cargo, and keeping the depot tidy while supporting daily operations.

Shifts are early mornings, Monday to Tuesday 6:30am–8:30am and Wednesday to Friday 5:30am–8:30am at our Wanaka Depot; flexibility is requested due to road conditions. A physically fit applicant with health and safety awareness will fit well.

Qualifications

• Physically fit (able to lift up to 25 kg)
• Warehousing experience is advantageous but not essential
• Sound knowledge of local NZ geography

The Role

This role will involve general warehousing and freight sorting duties, where you will prepare the depot for daily operations, maintain the tidiness of the branch and ensure the loading and unloading of cargo is completed safely and efficiently. You will be a physically fit individual with capability to work on your feet for extended periods of time.

Hours available are Monday to Tuesday, 6.30am to 8.30am and Wednesday to Friday, 5.30am to 8.30am

This role is based at our Wanaka Depot

Please note: Due to current road closures and strain on our transit network, we require flexibility.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential
• Physically fit(able to lift up to 25kgs)
• Strong focus on Health and Safety
• Sound knowledge of local NZ geography
