Job summary

Foodies is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead the morning shift team at our Landing Drive Distribution Centre in Māngere. The role focuses on delivering operational excellence, building a high-performing team, and ensuring outstanding service to stores and customers.

You'll coach and develop Team Leaders, plan resources, and drive performance and safety. Role runs Monday–Friday, 6:00am–2:30pm, with a range of employee benefits and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in distribution/logistics/warehousing.
• Experience as an Operations Manager or in a similar leadership role.
• Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven ability to make sound decisions and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Ensure shift is resourced and operating efficiently through planning and improvements.

We're looking for an experienced Operations Manager to lead our morning shift team at our Landing Drive Distribution Centre (LDDC) in Māngere. This is a key leadership role responsible for delivering operational excellence, building an engaged and high-performing team, and ensuring we continue to provide outstanding service to our stores and customers.

You'll also:

• Ensure the shift is effectively resourced and operating efficiently through proactive planning and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Drive operational performance, productivity and cost efficiency while maintaining budget expectations.
• Partner with key stakeholders to consistently deliver service standards and business objectives.
• Champion our Journey to Zero safety goals, ensuring a safe and compliant working environment for all team members.

Hours: Monday – Friday, 6:00am – 2:30pm
