Job summary

Greenmount Foods Tauranga is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead a production team of about 35 staff. You will manage 4x4 shift operations and act as site lead for capital projects, driving change and improvements.

Greenmount Foods Tauranga is a semi-automated Stock and Sauce making facility situated in the Bay of Plenty, producing a range of export-quality Stocks and Sauces targeted for markets as diverse as North America, Asia, Middle East and Australasia. Due to a promotion opportunity, we have an opening for an Operations Manager, to lead the production team of approximately 35 staff. This role is a key member of the Site Management team. You will have full responsibility for the production teams, which operate on a 4x4 shift pattern. You will also be the key site lead for capital projects. This role will challenge your thinking; and given the complexity of business and compliance rules which we must meet, you need to be motivated to implement change and juggle many balls, delivering solutions to complex challenges. For example, as a result of increasing sales, we are approaching the limit of our capacity. Capacity expansion is a key focus.
