Job summary

Metalcraft Roofing Whangārei is seeking an Operations Manager to lead a manufacturing and distribution team. You will report to the Branch Manager and be responsible for planning production and dispatch to meet customer requirements on time and to specification.

The role emphasizes coaching the team, maintaining safety and quality, and collaborating with sales to adapt to priorities. Experience in steel, roofing or building materials is highly regarded.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience in manufacturing, production and/or distribution.
• Strong planning and organisational skills with the ability to adjust to changing circumstances.
• Clear communication and ability to monitor performance using systems.
• Experience in steel, roofing or building materials is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan production and dispatch to maximise use of people, equipment and materials.
• Lead, coach and develop the team with clear expectations and accountability.
