Job summary

Sharesies is seeking an Operations Lead – AML & Onboarding in Wellington or Auckland to lead AML and onboarding workflows, guiding a team to deliver compliant, efficient customer experiences and ensuring regulatory obligations across NZ and AU.

The ideal candidate has AML/Regulatory expertise across NZ and AU, exceptional communication and collaborative leadership, and a track record of scaling and automating onboarding workflows while balancing compliance with customer experience.

We've had an exciting opportunity open up in our team as an Operations Lead – AML & Onboarding. This role is located in our Wellington or Auckland offices, where you'll enjoy a varied role, responsible for leading AML and onboarding workflows, guiding a team to deliver efficient, compliant, and seamless customer experiences, and ensuring Sharesies meets its regulatory AML/CFT obligations across New Zealand and Australia.

• has AML & Regulatory expertise including deep knowledge of AML/CFT frameworks, KYC/KYB, and transaction monitoring, serving as a subject matter expert across NZ and AU regulatory environments.
• is an exceptional communicator and collaborative leader skilled at driving continuous operational improvement in a fast-paced environment
• has a proven track record of scaling and automating onboarding workflows, translating objectives into clear plans while balancing compliance with a epic customer experience
• is adaptable to change, and is motivated by our vision and purpose
