Job summary

Refrigerated Couriers Limited (RCL) in Hamilton seeks an experienced Operations & Business Development Manager to lead day-to-day operations while driving growth. You will oversee drivers, contractors, rosters and runs, ensure health & safety compliance and work with customers to expand services.

The role combines hands-on operations management with strategic sales activity, including securing new contracts and strengthening relationships with existing clients.

Qualifications

• Experience in transport, logistics, courier or similar operational environment.
• Proven ability to identify business opportunities and build relationships.
• Experience managing staff, contractors or operational teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations including drivers, contractors, rosters and runs.
• Monitor service delivery, resolve operational issues and drive efficiency.
• Support implementation of new customers, contracts and services.
• Provide management cover for the General Manager when required.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities and manage customer relationships.
