Job description

Jora New Zealand will close on 9th September 2026. Thank you for being with us, we are cheering you on as you continue your career journey.

At Fonterra, we want everyone to feel they can be themselves. Whether you're early in your career or ready for your next step, Fonterra offers a unique opportunity to grow with a global dairy co-operative that values care, collaboration, and contribution. Owned by New Zealand dairy farmers and supported by a dedicated team, we are all working together to create a better future. Imagine tomorrow with us, where your career can grow, and you can create positive change.

We love Kiwi dairy farmers and know they're pretty awesome. For generations, they have relied on hard work, ingenuity, and each other to create the kind of goodness that fuels our families, connects our communities and supports our economy. At Farm Source, the same co-operative spirit that our farmers and their communities share drives our team. We make farming easier so farmers can continue to concentrate on what they do best – producing high-quality New Zealand milk in the most sustainable way. This means growing and supporting the right people – smart people with plenty of 'roll-your-sleeves up' energy to rise to the challenge. Whether you're on the farm getting your gumboots dirty or connecting over a coffee at our local stores, you'll get the mahi done as part of a trusted team – backed by good people, the right products, innovative solutions, and industry-leading expertise. So why not join us? Whether you're on the farm getting your gumboots dirty or connecting over a coffee at our local stores, you'll be getting the mahi done as part of a trusted team.

We are looking for super star sales specialists to join our local Rakaia store, you'll provide sound farming product advice to our loyal customers. Getting stuck into everything from merchandising to customer service. As part of your day-to-day, you'll also assist with entry-level administrative tasks such as processing customer orders and invoices, updating product pricing and stock levels in our systems, managing store filing, maintaining tidy and accurate records, and supporting with end-of-day cash balancing and banking preparation. You'll never be bored in this fast-paced role! With the opportunity to hone your agricultural expertise and open the door to multiple career pathways throughout the wider business, there couldn't be a better place to start.

Full time - Monday to Friday 8 am to 5 pm, Rotating Saturdays 9 am till 12pm.

You'll be a self-motivated, adaptable team member with excellent customer service and communication skills. You'll have a high level of physical fitness; we are looking for someone who is hands on and able to sustain repetitive manual handling such as lifting our 25kg bags of product on a daily basis. Ideally, you'll have some prior customer service/sales experience and a connection to the agricultural industry.
