Job summary

Kiwibank is seeking an Open Banking Product Lead to define and advance our Open Banking strategy, proposition and ecosystem in New Zealand. You will own the roadmap, balance regulatory and commercial needs, and drive value for customers by shaping partnerships with fintechs and third parties.

You will collaborate across Product, Technology, Operations, Risk and Legal, building trusted relationships with regulators and industry participants to deliver smarter financial experiences that benefit

Qualifications

• Strong experience in product management, payments, or digital financial services.
• Proven ability to develop roadmaps and propositions in complex environments.
• Strong commercial acumen with experience managing partners.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and deliver outcomes through cross-functional teams.
• Experience managing regulatory, risk, and compliance obligations.

As our Open Banking Product Lead, you will define, deliver and evolve Kiwibank’s Open Banking strategy, proposition and ecosystem. You will own the roadmap, navigate a complex and evolving environment, prioritise competing demands and focus delivery on the opportunities that create the greatest value. You will dentify new opportunities and partnerships, and ensure our Open Banking services create meaningful customer value while meeting our regulatory, operational and commercial requirements.

You will be the central point of coordination across Product, Technology, Operations, Risk, Legal and Compliance, while building trusted relationships with regulators, fintechs, industry participants and strategic partners. You will also support the ongoing management and evolution of our Open Banking products and services, working closely with third-party providers and partners to enable them to successfully use Open Banking capabilities. By championing innovation across payments, data sharing and ecosystem partnerships, you will help shape the future of banking and enable smarter financial experiences that make Kiwi better off.

• Strong experience in product management, payments, banking, digital platforms or financial services
• Proven ability to develop strategies, roadmaps and propositions in complex environments
• Strong commercial acumen, with experience managing partners and external relationships
• Confident influencing senior stakeholders and delivering outcomes through cross functional teams
• Experienced in managing regulatory, risk and compliance obligations
