Job summary

Briscoe Group is seeking an experienced IT professional for an on-site Level 3 support role in Morningside. The six-month fixed-term contract runs from October through March, with a 40-hour week, Monday to Friday, supporting a busy retail network.

You will handle day-to-day systems work, manage IT infrastructure, apply patches and contribute to project activities across stores and the distribution centre. Strong troubleshooting and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• At least five years’ IT experience with Level 3 capability.
• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in business or computing.
• Strong troubleshooting and multitasking abilities.
• Clear interpersonal and communication skills.
• Structured change control, documentation and helpdesk discipline.
• Willingness to travel to stores locally and nationally.

Responsibilities

• Handle broad day-to-day systems work and issues to support projects.
• Manage and monitor IT systems, installations, testing, maintenance and upgrades.
• Provide second and third level support and assist with helpdesk overflow.
• Apply security patches and maintain security, backup and redundancy.
• Improve availability and efficiency through monitoring and automation.
• Collaborate with internal teams, vendors and store sites for IT needs.
• Participate in on-call roster and travel to stores as required.
