Job summary

SIT Online is seeking an experienced Programme Operations Manager to provide academic leadership, programme management, and operational oversight across our online learning portfolio. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting student success, fostering innovation in online education, and strengthening industry relationships.

Qualifications

Experience in tertiary education or academic leadership.
Strong organisational and relationship management skills.
Commitment to student success and high-quality outcomes.
Experience with quality assurance and compliance frameworks.
Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

Lead and support facilitators in programme planning, delivery, assessment, moderation, and evaluation.
Manage online programme operations, timetabling, student support, and programme administration.
Contribute to accreditation and quality assurance initiatives.
Foster relationships with industry partners, academic staff, contractors and stakeholders.
Support recruitment, induction, performance management, and professional development of facilitators and academic staff.
Monitor student engagement, retention, achievement, and feedback to ensure positive learner outcomes.
Ensure programme compliance with SIT policies, NZQA requirements, and external quality assurance expectations.
Promote continuous improvement through self-assessment, evaluation, research, and scholarship activities.
