Job summary

Fulton Hogan Limited is seeking a Quality Advisor to join our Civil Construction team in Auckland. This on-site role works across multiple civil projects, driving quality from startup to close-out and ensuring practices align with our safety, wellbeing, quality, and environmental standards.

You will lead site-based quality policies, train teams, and help develop quality management plans while building strong relationships with clients and subcontractors.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a quality or engineering role in civil construction or similar high-risk environment.
• Strong knowledge of acts, standards and regulations related to quality in civil construction.
• Excellent people and communication skills across all levels of a diverse team.
• Strong organisational ability to coordinate tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
• Proven problem-solving skills and ability to stay composed under pressure.
• Analytical mindset with ability to collect data, derive insights and report clearly.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality support and leadership to develop, implement, verify, maintain and train site-based teams in quality policies and procedures throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure implementation and consistent application of our systems, plans, policies, initiatives and strategy.
• Build trusting relationships to influence and collaborate on solutions.
• Support and coach project teams, subbies and clients to deliver all quality aspects of their work.
• Assist in developing site-specific quality management plans and safety-in-design methodology.
