Job summary

Reboot Monkey in Silverdale, Auckland, New Zealand, seeks a Data Center Technician for a full-time on-site role supporting critical infrastructure in world-class facilities.

You will install, configure, and maintain server and network gear, perform structured cabling, hardware deployments, and monitor power/cooling systems. 3+ years of DC operations and relevant certifications are preferred, with on-call rotation and up to 50 lb lift requirements.

Qualifications

• 3+ years data center operations experience.
• Expert cabling skills (Cat6/6a, OM3/OM4/OS2 fiber).
• Strong troubleshooting and documentation abilities.
• Experience with power distribution and UPS systems.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain server and network equipment.
• Perform structured cabling (copper and fiber optic).
• Execute hardware deployments and decommissions.
• Monitor environmental systems (power, cooling, security).
• Respond to incidents and perform troubleshooting; maintain documentation.
