Ravensdown Limited is seeking an Agri Manager to support farmers across McNab and surrounding Dairy, Arable, and Sheep & Beef operations. The role focuses on soils, pasture, crops, and animal nutrition while guiding sustainable practices and high-value solutions.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on experience engaging with customers and building relationships.
• Strong knowledge of farming systems and soil fertility.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Awareness of New Zealand environmental policies affecting farming.
• Tech-savvy with experience using agricultural technology systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in agriculture or related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build strong partnerships with farmers, understand needs, and deliver tailored solutions.
• Plan and conduct customer visits to achieve sales targets while advising on best practices.
• Utilize technology to help farmers boost profitability and environmental stewardship.
• Develop strategies to reduce environmental impact and optimise land value.
• Work independently and confidently in a remote region, managing day-to-day duties.
