Job summary

Habit Health in Christchurch is seeking an experienced Occupational Health Nurse to deliver high-quality services across our client base. In this full-time role, you’ll perform health assessments, vaccinations, and provide clear clinical guidance while travelling around the region as required.

You’ll work within a collaborative multidisciplinary team, maintain accurate records, and contribute to safe, healthy workplaces.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with a current NZ Annual Practising Certificate.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in occupational health nursing.
• Excellent communication, organisation and time-management skills.
• Professional, proactive and solution-focused approach.
• Ability to work as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team.
• Knowledge of Privacy, H&S, and health information legislation.
• Valid NZ drivers license.

Responsibilities

• Deliver clinical occupational health assessments and vaccinations, and provide clear feedback to clients.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure timely reporting.
• Manage equipment, scheduling and patient management systems efficiently.
• Build strong professional relationships with clients, colleagues and external stakeholders.
• Promote Habit Health’s services and identify opportunities to support new and existing customers.

We have a fantastic opportunity for a nursing professional who can bring their experience to an Occupational Health Nurse role based out of our Christchurch clinic. In this role, you’ll deliver high-quality occupational health services to a wide range of clients and contribute to smooth, efficient service delivery. Your nursing assessment skills, vaccination process, clinical judgement and proactive communication will help organisations keep their people healthy, safe and supported at work. This opportunity is full time.

Due to the nature of the role, you will be required to travel around the region.
