Job summary

JLL is seeking a Research & Market Intelligence Analyst in New Zealand to deliver strategic market intelligence across the commercial and industrial property sector. You will collect data from multiple sources, maintain NZ databases, and deliver REIS reports while collaborating with local and international teams to drive client outcomes.

You will analyse market trends, contribute to GIS research, and support thought leadership and consulting initiatives, including data visualisation and pitching

Qualifications

• Minimum two years' experience in a related field with demonstrated research and analytical capabilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and data analysis.
• Strong written communication skills suited for the property sector.

Responsibilities

• Collect and input data from agents, valuers, government agencies and public records to keep NZ databases current and complete.
• Update and quality-check core databases each quarter, including REIS, development pipelines, and demographics.
• Liaise with valuation and agency teams to verify data inputs and confirm figures.
• Collaborate with offshore data team and Australian REIS team to improve data collection and reporting efficiency.
• Deliver quarterly REIS subscriptions, manage reporting requirements and bi-annual vacancy surveys.
• Prepare and present quarterly market snapshot reports and presentation collateral.
• Use JLL GPT and other tools to improve efficiency and focus on high-value analysis.
• Analyse market data and trends to produce research and support consulting initiatives.
• Contribute to demographic and GIS research for market sizing and site analysis.
• Support thought leadership papers and research publications shared with clients.
• Assist in fee-based consulting engagements and grow responsibilities over time.
• Provide research material for valuation reports and client pitches, possibly engaging with clients directly.
