Job summary

Alsco Uniforms NZ in Hamilton seeks a Plant Processing Manager to lead the production team and drive process improvements while ensuring safety and quality in a busy operation. You will mentor staff, optimise workflows, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

The role emphasises strong leadership, operational excellence, and collaboration with the Branch Manager to manage budgets and resource planning across our NZ network.

Qualifications

• Experience with risk assessment, hazard management and Safe Work Procedures.
• Lean manufacturing/process improvement experience.
• Business and Health & Safety qualifications are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of production, optimising plant processes and productivity.
• Work closely with the Branch Manager to oversee budgets and control expenses within production.
• Coach, manage and review your team to drive performance and safety.
• Uphold high safety standards without compromise.
