Zusammenfassung

Lactalis New Zealand is seeking a senior nutrition and regulatory lead to drive nutrition frameworks across our NZ portfolio and ensure regulatory alignment for domestic and export markets. You will partner with marketing, R&D and operations to translate science into credible, evidence-based nutrition stories.

You will represent the business in industry forums, guide product development with regulatory insights, and build capability through training while leading a small team.

Qualifikationen

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Nutrition, Dietetics or Health Science.
• Experience in dairy, food, FMCG or supplements with regulatory exposure is desirable.
• Strong ability to interpret science and apply it to business decisions.

The Opportunity

This is a great opportunity to take the lead on nutrition for Lactalis NZ and make your mark across a diverse portfolio of well-known dairy brands. You’ll have genuine ownership, working across the business and externally to strengthen our nutrition approach and help shape how we show up on important nutrition and regulatory topics. Reporting to the Head of Regulatory and Nutrition, you will:

• Develop nutrition frameworks and lead nutrition reporting across the Lactalis NZ portfolio
• Partner with marketing to develop credible, evidence-based nutrition stories and collateral aligned with regulatory requirements
• Represent Lactalis NZ in relevant industry forums
• Provide nutrition and regulatory guidance across new product development and existing products for domestic and export markets
• Build capability across the business through nutrition and regulatory training, while supporting the development of your team

About You

You’re a confident nutrition professional who enjoys making science practical, relevant and easy to understand while aligned with regulatory requirements. Collaborative and proactive, you’ll be comfortable working with a wide range of stakeholders while taking ownership of your area and bringing a strong evidence-based perspective to the conversation. In addition to this, you will have:

• A relevant tertiary qualification, ideally in Nutrition, Dietetics or Health Science
• Experience within dairy, food, FMCG or supplements, with regulatory experience highly desirable
• Confidence interpreting scientific research and applying evidence to real-world business decisions
• Strong relationship-building skills, with the ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical teams
• The confidence to represent the business externally and contribute credibly to industry nutrition and regulatory discussions
