Job summary

Wintec invites dynamic and experienced registered nurses (RN) to join our Te Kura o te Oranga (Centre for Health & Social Practice) team in the heart of Waikato. This full-time position supports nursing education, including facilitation, mentoring and curriculum development for nursing students.

The ideal candidate has over five years of NZ nursing experience, a current annual practising certificate, and belongs to a relevant professional body; a permit to live and work in NZ is required.

Qualifications

• Must have nursing education experience in the tertiary sector.
• Must understand Te Ao Māori.
• Must hold a current annual practising certificate.
• Must belong to a relevant professional body.
• Five or more years of nursing experience in New Zealand.
• Must have a valid permit to live and work in New Zealand.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate engaging and interactive learning experiences for nursing students.
• Instruct and mentor students in both theoretical knowledge and practical skills.
• Contribute to curriculum development and enhancement.
