Job summary

Wintec invites dynamic and experienced registered nurses to join our Te Kura o te Oranga team in Waikato. A full- or part-time RN educator role is offered to contribute to nursing education, curriculum development, and practical skill mentoring.

Qualifications

• Must hold RN registration with APC in New Zealand.
• Five or more years of nursing experience in NZ or equivalent.
• Understanding Te Ao Māori and its application in education.
• Current practising certificate and professional body membership.
• Valid permit to live and work in New Zealand.

As a leading institution committed to delivering quality education, we are excited to be able to offer a full- or part-time position within our nursing education team. The position is suitable for a RN that is looking to enter the education sector. In your role, you will:

• facilitate engaging and interactive learning experiences for nursing students.
• instruct and mentor students in both theoretical knowledge and practical skills.
• contribute to curriculum development and enhancement.
• foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• stay current with industry trends and best practices.

The appointing salary for this role will be between $87,200 - $96,800 (pro rata), depending on skills and experience.

We are looking for people who:

• have an understanding of nursing in a range of clinical environments
• have an understanding of Te Ao Māori.
• have a current annual practising certificate.
• belong to a relevant professional body.
• have five or more years of experience in the nursing profession in New Zealand.
• possess a valid permit to live and work in New Zealand.
