Job summary

We are seeking a registered nursing professional and passionate educator to join our nursing team at Mokoia, Rotorua. This role will primarily teach theory and support ākonga in clinical settings across years one, two and three in the Bachelor of Nursing

Working closely with nursing colleagues and clinical partners, you will support learners and deliver high-quality learning, teaching, and assessment.

Qualifications

• Registered nurse in New Zealand with current practicing certificate.
• Master’s degree (or nearing completion) in nursing or related field.
• Ideally a tertiary teaching qualification.
• Minimum three years post-registration nursing experience.
• Strong clinical teaching, mentoring and communication skills.
• Commitment to learner success and equity outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver teaching, assessment and learning activities.
• Provide clinical supervision and practicum support.
• Support ākonga achievement and pastoral care.
• Undertake marking and academic administration.
