Job summary

ACCIONA Northland Corridor Project in New Zealand is seeking an experienced Training and Competency lead to develop and deliver the project-wide training strategy. You will work with site teams, HR, and external providers to raise workforce capability and ensure compliance with project requirements.

Based in North Auckland, the role collaborates with the project HR Manager and external providers to build essential systems and partnerships.

Qualifications

Tertiary qualification in HR, education or organisational development.
Experience in training or L&D within civil or infrastructure construction.
Experience partnering with polytechnics, PTEs and industry bodies.
Strong understanding of the NZQA and vocational education framework.
High-level organisational skills and ability to work autonomously.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement training and competency programs for the project.
Design apprenticeship and traineeship programs with polytechnics and industry bodies.
Set up project induction and site access training programs.
Track training and skills reporting requirements.
Maintain the site access and competency management system.
Advise project and site teams on training and compliance matters.
