Job summary

Service Foods in Auckland is seeking a warehouse storeperson for our night shift. You will pick and pack orders, scan with our system, and help manage stock in a freezer environment up to -24°C. Join a 100% Kiwi-owned team known for reliability and growth opportunities.

The role requires at least 1 year in a warehouse/logistics setting, basic English, and the ability to lift up to 25 kg. Forklift license is a bonus; own transport is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 1 year of experience in a Warehouse or Logistics environment working in Freezer.
• Forklift/Bendi License is an added advantage.
• Must be able to work in freezer temperatures (-24°C).
• No criminal convictions related to harm, theft or drugs.
• May be required to pass a pre-employment drug test.
• Be physically strong and fit; the job involves hand loading and hoist work.
• Basic English and numerical literacy.
• Scanning and Computer skills are advantageous.
• A self-starter who doesn't need constant supervision—own this role.
• Have reasonably good reading, writing and arithmetic skills.
• You will be physically fit and able to lift up to 25 kg.
• Be extremely reliable, a proven record of exceptional attendance in all previous work.
• Be a team player with a positive attitude.
• Must have their own transport.

Responsibilities

• Accurately pick & pack orders (manual and scan).
• Monitor and manage the use of the pick-pack scanning system.
• Check and assist the team leader in finding the stocks that are not in location.
• Replenish stock as needed to ensure proper stock rotation and maintain optimal inventory levels.
• Ensure product is stored safely at all times.
• Maintain a clean and organised work environment.
• Assist with general warehouse functions.
