Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora Southern is inviting new graduate midwives to join the 12-month Midwifery First Year of Practice (MFYP) programme. This 0.8 FTE role offers hands-on experience across tertiary, primary and rural maternity settings with a flexible orientation and strong support from senior staff.
You’ll rotate across antenatal, labour and birth, and postnatal care, with opportunities for caseload midwifery in a supportive, community-focused team.
