Netball South is seeking anAdministration Managerto provide pivotal administration and finance support to the Netball South team. The role will involve ensuring the monthly financial records, systems, and requirements of Netball South are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
Key responsibilities
Process reconciliations, manage creditors and debtors through MYOB Acumatica, bank account approvals and processing, and preparing payroll information.
Provide frontline services to the customers and partners of Netball South
Assist with funding, compliance, and accountability requirements and coordinate documentation for the annual audit process.
Coordinate health and safety systems and processes
Maintain registers and policies
Provide administration support across areas such as marketing and sponsorship, community netball, and volunteer management.
Assist with the coordination and delivery of events and programmes alongside the community and franchise teams.
Provide administrative support to the board of directors and the Chief Executive.
About you
Ideally, the successful applicant will have experience in administration, finance, and office management, preferably within the sport, not-for-profit, or community sectors, although this is not essential. Experience with Microsoft 365 applications and online accounting systems, particularly MYOB, would be an advantage. Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, customer service experience, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team-based office environment are essential.
About us
Netball South Zone is one of five Zones affiliated to Netball New Zealand that oversees the promotion, development and growth of netball in the lower South Island. The Zone encompasses the Otago and Southland regions and includes over 13,000 members participating in netball at grassroots level.
This is part-time position (30 hours per week). The Administration Manager will be based in Invercargill at the Head Office of Netball South and reports directly to the Chief Executive.
