Te Whatu Ora - Health New Zealand in Waikato seeks an Associate Charge Nurse Manager (ACNM) for the Newborn Intensive Care Unit. You will join a busy NICU leadership team, providing clinical leadership and coordinating staffing, resources and high-quality neonatal care.

The role emphasises staff development, quality improvement and whānau-centred care within an interdisciplinary model. A fixed-term contract of 12 months at 0.8–1.0 FTE is offered.

Qualifications

• 5 years RN experience with neonatal expertise.
• Demonstrated leadership or management experience.
• Understanding of quality improvement practices.
• Be committed to a safe, positive and enriching workplace culture
• Interdisciplinary model of care

Responsabilités

• Coordinate daily patient flow, staffing and resource management.
• Provide clinical leadership and supervise safe, high-quality neonatal care.
• Support nursing staff development, education and clinical practice.
• Promote whānau-centred care and partnership with whānau.
• Work closely with the CNM.
• Work collaboratively with the ACNM team and multidisciplinary team.
• Contribute to quality improvement and service development.
• Foster a safe, supportive and positive workplace culture.
