Job summary

Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is seeking Support Workers to assist people with disabilities to engage in Nelson Marlborough community life. You will help individuals participate in events, accompany them to appointments and support daily personal care and household tasks.

We offer flexible full-time, part-time, fixed-term, and casual roles across various shifts, including weekends. Training toward Levels 2–4 Health and Wellbeing Certificates is provided to support career growth.

Qualifications

• Applicants must have a full NZ Driver Licence and be eligible to work in New Zealand or hold a valid NZ visa.
• Appointment and ongoing employment will be conditional upon criminal record/police checks.
• You must declare any convictions or pending charges on your application form.

Responsibilities

• Help people join community activities and events.
• Drive people to appointments and catch-ups.
• Support people with personal care and household tasks.
• Work across a range of shifts including weekends.
