Job summary

Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora Nelson Hospital is seeking two Allied Health Assistants to join the Allied Health Equipment Store. You will support patient rehabilitation and independence by managing, delivering, and maintaining equipment across inpatient, outpatient and community services.

The roles are permanent part-time positions working 56 and 60 hours per fortnight (0.70 FTE and 0.75 FTE), Monday to Friday 7:30am to 5:00pm.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Managing and maintaining Allied Health equipment and stock.
• Coordinating equipment deliveries, collections, and servicing.
• Supporting therapists with equipment requests and enquiries.
• Assisting with delegated patient-related activities.
• Ensuring equipment is safe, organised, and readily available for clinical use.
