Job summary

NZTA | Waka Kotahi is seeking a National Manager Commercial Delivery to shape procurement, contracting and commercial support across a multi-billion-dollar transport portfolio. Based in Auckland, Hamilton, Wellington or Christchurch, you will lead the commercial delivery function and drive value for money.

You will embed commercial thinking early in the project lifecycle, balance cost, risk and delivery certainty, and build capability across planning and delivery teams to improve outcomes for

Qualifications

• Demonstrated senior leadership experience in large, complex environments.
• Strong commercial acumen with infrastructure delivery experience.
• Experience in procurement models, contracting and risk management.
• Ability to influence senior leaders and build trusted relationships.
