Job summary

sKids is seeking a Multisite Programme Assistant to help run after-school activities across Peninsula & West Auckland. You’ll supervise children, maintain a clean, welcoming space, and support lively, engaging sessions from 2:30pm onward. This part-time role offers a mid‑day window suitable for students or carers, with no weekend work.

Ideal candidates are reliable, energetic, and excited to make each session special, with rights to work in NZ and a willingness to commute to the Peninsula site.

Responsibilities

• Supervising and supporting Tamariki in fun, safe activities.

• Helping Programme Manager run smooth, energetic sessions.
• Spotting hiccups (behaviour, wellbeing, safety) and reporting to the manager.

As a Programme Assistant, you’ll be the friendly face that makes the afternoons unforgettable for children. You’ll be working a minimum of 9 hoursper week, rostered across Monday to Friday

• Supervising and supporting Tamariki in a range of fun, safe activities
• Keeping our spaces tidy, clean, and welcoming for children

• Can get to sKids Peninsulasitewith reliable transportation and/or a vehicle
• Are enthusiastic about working with kids – from babysitting to coaching to volunteering, any experience counts!

• Afternoon/ After School shifts runs between 2.30pm–6.00pm. Availability from 2.30pm is essential, though finish times may vary.
• Potential school holiday programmes hours available (between 7am - 6pm).
