Job summary

Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is seeking a Network Engineer to deploy, configure and maintain network services across multiple sites in the South Island. Christchurch is the primary base, with flexibility for Timaru or Nelson Marlborough and regular travel to on-site locations.

You will work with senior engineers and vendors, troubleshooting and delivering high-quality network solutions while supporting a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• CCNA certification or equivalent.
• 3 years of experience delivering day-to-day technical support for end-users and IT systems.
• 1-3 years of experience deploying and configuring complex network solutions, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and maintain network services across multiple sites.
• Support and maintain network infrastructure across locations.
• Assist in design and deployment of network solutions.
• Troubleshoot connectivity issues and optimize performance.
• Travel to on-site locations for installations and upgrades.
