Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora in New Plymouth is seeking a General Medical Imaging Technologist with MRI focus to join our radiology department. The role is permanent up to 80 hours per fortnight and based across multiple sites.

You will work in a supportive team, participate in an on-call roster including weekends, and make sound clinical decisions under pressure. NZ registration and annual practising certificate are essential.

About the role Permanent up to 80 hours per fortnight role, based in New Plymouth across multiple sites. Join our dynamic team at Health New Zealand in New Plymouth! We are currently looking for a skilled General Medical Imaging Technologist to join our friendly and supportive radiology department at Taranaki Base Hospital. This position involves working in our general department and participating in our on-call roster, which includes weekends, shifts, and call duties. Our facilities in New Plymouth include advanced imaging technologies such as general x-ray, CT, ultrasound, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, Interventional radiography, fluoroscopy and more.

With satellite sites in Hawera, Stratford, and Waitara, you will have the chance to work alongside a team of around 60 staff members, supported by experienced Radiologists. This position will commence as soon as possible.
