Job summary

Dimond Structural manufactures steel purlin and composite flooring products in New Zealand. We are seeking an experienced Machine Operator to join our Auckland team on the morning shift (6am–2:30pm), Monday to Friday.

You will operate the assigned machine and work with colleagues to meet customer specs and production targets. The right candidate is mechanically minded, safety-focused and detail oriented, with good written communication and basic maths.

Qualifications

• Mechanically minded with an interest in manufacturing.
• High attention to detail for accurate record-keeping.
• Safety conscious in a production environment.
• Good written communication and basic mathematics.
• Comfortable lifting 25 kg.
• Forklift licence is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Take pride in safely operating the assigned machine and ensuring products meet specifications and quality standards.
• Aim for daily/weekly/monthly production targets.
• Work in a busy environment with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Adhere to statutory requirements and Fletcher Building safety policies.
