Job summary

New Zealand Police is seeking a Monitoring & Evaluation Advisor based in Wellington to support its International Service Group. You will develop logic frameworks, measure results, and advise on M&E for overseas assistance programmes while collaborating with MFAT and internal stakeholders.

The role involves researching, evaluating, and reporting on programme progress, contributing to international security objectives and capacity-building initiatives within NZ Police.

The International Service Group (ISG) is looking for a dynamic and professional member to join its team. This is an excited opportunity to be involved in a unique part of the organisation which manages NZ Police's contribution to international security and development operations.

• Support NZ's foreign policy objectives in both the Pacific region and beyond.
• Further NZ's law enforcement interests internationally, and Contribute to disaster and emergency response and security liaisons.

As the Monitoring & Evaluation Advisor, you will support the delivery of these objectives by providing efficient and effective advice on monitoring & evaluation and performance frameworks for Police's capacity-building programmes.

Key Accountabilities

• Programme development: Support the design of Police's overseas assistance programmes through the development of logic frameworks, results measurement tables and indicators of success.
• Research and analysis: Design and conduct research, surveys, and evaluations to help measure progress of Police overseas assistance programmes and identify any performance trends and issues.
• Programme reporting: Review and provide performance information for quarterly, annual and other programme progress reports to MFAT.
• Monitoring and evaluation advice: Provide advice and training to Police advisors to ensure adherence to monitoring and evaluation requirements.

Utu ā-tau | Salary

This position is covered by a collective agreement and salary will commence between $88,179 and $101,804 dependent on skills and experience relevant to the role.
