The Tree Consultancy Company (TTCC), based on Auckland's North Shore, is seeking a Monitoring Arborist to join our technology-driven arboricultural team. You will supervise construction activities near trees, liaising with stakeholders, contractors and regulators to ensure consent conditions are met.

We value strong communication, a practical, solutions-focused mindset and the ability to work independently across challenging site environments.

Qualifications

• Level 4 qualification in arboriculture or related environmental field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
• Strong communication and conflict-resolution skills on site.
• Experience with GIS is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Supervising construction-related activities near trees.
• Liaising with key stakeholders around consenting and approval conditions.
• Liaising with contractors and managing potential conflicts to reach practical solutions.
• Undertaking pre-start meetings with project team representatives.
• Preparing clear monitoring records and compliance reporting.
• Upholding high standards of Health & Safety at all times.
