Job summary

The New Zealand Automobile Association Inc. is hiring a Mobile Tech Lead to own the AA's mobile platform and drive the technical evolution of our iOS and Android apps. You will balance hands-on coding with people leadership, shaping architecture, standards, and release processes.

You will lead a mobile engineering team, mentor engineers, and partner with product and design to deliver secure, high-performing experiences. Hybrid work and ongoing learning are offered.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading mobile engineering teams.
• Strong expertise in Flutter/Dart and cross-platform mobile development.
• Hands-on coding while driving architecture and best practices.
• Experience delivering iOS and Android applications at scale.

Responsibilities

• Own the mobile platform technical direction and delivery.
• Lead, coach and grow the mobile engineering team.
• Collaborate with product, design and engineering stakeholders to deliver features.
• Drive CI/CD automation and release management, and explore AI-enabled practices.
