Job summary

Fluid Recruitment is seeking a practical, hands-on Curtain and Blind Installation Technician for its Central Otago operation. This mobile role covers residential and commercial sites, installing blinds and associated fittings, and delivering precise measurements with a focus on quality workmanship.

You will read installation plans, use hand and power tools safely, and liaise with customers to ensure high standards of finish while working independently within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Experience installing window furnishings is useful but not essential.
• Background in building, construction, property maintenance or trades is welcome.
• Able to travel within Central Otago and work independently on site.

Responsibilities

• Install blinds, curtains, shutters and related fittings.
• Take accurate site measurements and read installation plans.
• Use hand and power tools safely and effectively on site.
• Troubleshoot installation issues and liaise with customers professionally.
• Ensure work meets quality and safety standards.
