SOL Group of Companies, part of HEB Construction, is seeking experienced Mobile Crushing & Screening Operators to join our team. The roles include travel across quarry sites in the South Island and a focus on safe, reliable production.

Operate mobile crushing and screening plant, perform setup, routine maintenance, and monitor output. You will work independently or with a crew, upholding high health and safety standards.

Qualifikationen

• Proven experience operating mobile crushing and screening plant.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work unsupervised and take ownership of plant performance.
• Flexibility to work away from home when required.
• Good understanding of quarry production processes and material types.
• A proactive approach to health and safety.
• Full Class 1 licence (Class 2 or 4 preferred).
• WTR endorsements and B Grade Quarry Certificate preferred.

Aufgaben

• Operate mobile crushing and screening plant, including crushers, screens, and stackers.
• Safely set up, operate, and shut down plant in line with site and company procedures.
• Monitor production output and optimise plant settings as required.
• Carry out routine maintenance, servicing, and basic repairs.
• Complete pre-start checks and proactively identify and report faults.
• Work across multiple quarry sites and mobile contract projects.
• Ensure production targets and quality standards are consistently met.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment.
• Actively contribute to a strong safety-first culture.

About the Role

We are looking for experienced and reliable Mobile Crushing & Screening Operators to join our growing operations. We currently have two permanent positions available:

• Invercargill

This is a hands‑on role operating and maintaining mobile crushing and screening plant across quarry and contract sites. You will work both independently and as part of a wider crew, taking ownership of plant performance while delivering safe, efficient, and high-quality aggregate production.
