Qualifications

• Must be currently studying or have completed a degree in CS/DS/Software Eng/Biomedical Eng or related STEM.
• Degree from a New Zealand tertiary institution; overseas study ineligible.
• Final semester completed within 12 months.
• Eligible to work full-time in New Zealand.

Responsibilities

• Model Training & Evaluation: Train and refine models (PyTorch) for object detection and feature localisation.
• Scientific Computing: Write scientific Python (NumPy, OpenCV) to process data.
• Software Integration: Integrate models and algorithms into our existing software platform.
• AI-Assisted Development: Use LLMs (Claude, Gemini) to accelerate coding, debugging, and prototyping.
